My journey with Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping began in September 2016. I attended a class at 5 a.m. with my parents and even though I struggled through a good portion of it, I absolutely loved it. After class that day, I walked right up to the desk and "signed my life away," making one of the best decisions of my life.
My 10-week challenge started just a couple of weeks later as I attended the 6 a.m. class. Naturally, I was nervous to start this whole new chapter. I didn't know how to kickbox. I didn't know what a roundhouse kick was or the difference between a jab and a cross. Walking in that first morning, I've never felt so welcomed. All of these new people, new faces and experiences. It was overwhelming, but in the best possible way! Very quickly this group of strangers became my Farrell’s family.
Each week I felt myself getting stronger, better, and more confident. Going to Farrell’s and really pushing myself to that Level 10 we hear so much about was becoming an addiction; I needed to go. Around week seven, I received a Facebook message from one of the owners at the time, asking me if I would be interested in becoming an instructor. To be honest, I was ecstatic about it. It's one thing to feel and see yourself improving, but a completely different feeling when others are also taking notice. I agreed without hesitation and the rest is history.
Being a part of Farrell’s eXtreme Bodyshaping has changed my life. The kickboxing and strength training workouts are great, and it's been amazing changing my lifestyle through healthy nutrition and exercise. I feel like the best version of me, but it's been so much more than that. I have developed these incredible friendships with genuinely good people; they're my family.
I have so much more confidence now than I ever thought was possible. I couldn't imagine living my life any other way than at Level 10, every day.
